As the founder of One Day At (a) Time, Nicole is on a mission to bridge the gap between mental health awareness and the faith-based community.
From a young age, Nicole faced the harsh realities of abandonment and trauma. Placed in foster care at the age of three, she was exposed to emotional wounds that would shape her early identity. Though later adopted into a loving home, Nicole struggled with feelings of rejection and the emotional scars of her past, leading to a diagnosis of Major Depression.
